Hi, I'm Sara! I was born and raised in Mississippi, the heart of the south, but Arizona has been my home for over a decade now. I've been married for 20 years, and together we've wrangled four amazing kids and a whole lot of laughter.

My Journey into photography started over 15 years ago as a hobby and a creative outlet - one that quickly turned into a passion. I'm completely self-taught, fueled by curiosity, countless hours of practice, a steady diet of stubborn determination and snacks, and just a dash of chaos - because, well, four kids! I've grown my craft from casual snapshots to full on professional storytelling, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I've got a quirky, silly sense of humor and believe life is better when you can laugh through the chaos. Whether I'm behind the lens or in the line at the grocery store with a toddler on each hip, I always try to find joy in the moment.

As you will see from my portfolio, many of my favorite images are black and white. There's something timeless and soulful about stripping away the color and focusing on raw emotion. As Ted Grant said, "When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls." That said, I still love working with color to capture all the bold, beautiful moments life throws our way - because sometimes, joy is best expressed in color.
